Project reports and client summaries

Project reports give you a detailed summary of logged hours, sessions, invoices, and proof-of-work screenshots for any period.

Opening and configuring a project report

1. Go to Projects in the sidebar navigation.
2. Click Report on the project's row, or choose Project report from the menu on a project card.
3. Under Period, pick a preset: This week, Last week, This month, Last month, Last 30 days, This year, or Custom dates (with From and To date pickers).
4. Under Include, choose which sections to add: Every session (date, time, work), Invoices and payments, and Proof-of-work screenshots (up to 8).
5. Optionally add Notes for the client to sum up what was delivered or the next steps (up to 4,000 characters).
6. Under Paper, select A4 or US Letter.

Automatic neutral style for marketplace clients

When a project belongs to a marketplace client (billed by Fiverr, Upwork, Freelancer.com, or Other Marketplace), Invollo automatically uses the neutral style. Company logos, direct links, and invoice details are omitted, making the report safe to share on the platform without risking terms violations.

For direct clients, the report uses your business branding, logo, and brand accent colors.

Exporting your report

1. Click Preview to inspect the rendered PDF document directly in your browser.
2. Click Download PDF to save the printable report file.
3. Click CSV to download a clean spreadsheet of work sessions (dates, times, durations, and notes).
