Converting an accepted quotation to an invoice
Turn an accepted quotation into a new invoice pre-filled with its client, line items, tax, discount, and notes.
Once a client accepts your quotation, you can immediately convert the agreed scope into an active billing invoice without re-entering line items.
Conversion steps
- Navigate to Quotations and open the accepted quotation.
- Click Convert to Invoice.
- Invollo opens a new invoice pre-filled from the quotation (client, items, tax, discount, notes).
- Check the Issue Date and Due Date, then click Create Invoice.
- Open the new invoice and click Send Invoice.
Helpful TipThe invoice notes say "Based on quotation" with the quote number. Each quotation can be converted once; converting it again takes you to the existing invoice.
