Reply helper in the browser extension
Draft replies from selected text with a right-click, from a chat it reads for you, and with the optional reply-box button on Fiverr.
The Invollo browser extension brings the reply helper next to your messages. It only gets text you select, paste, or let it read with Read this chat (or, if you turn it on, automatically while the side panel is open), and you always send the reply yourself.
Installing and signing in
- Install the extension as described in the browser extension guide (Time Tracker page → Extension → Download ZIP, then unzip and Load unpacked).
- Sign in to the extension with your Invollo account.
- The first time you draft a reply, Invollo AI asks for a quick human check on this browser: click Open Invollo to confirm, check the code matches, and confirm.
Drafting from selected text
- On the marketplace, select the buyer's message.
- Right-click and choose Draft a reply with Invollo. The side panel opens with the text.
- Invollo suggests the order or inquiry from the page address (for example the buyer's inbox or the order number). You can switch this off with "Find the buyer from the page address when I right-click".
- Draft the reply, edit it, copy it and send it on the marketplace.
Reading a chat: WhatsApp Web, Upwork, Freelancer.com and Fiverr
Instead of selecting the messages, you can let the extension read the conversation that is open in your tab. It reads only when you click, and you see everything it read before anything is drafted.
- Open the conversation on WhatsApp Web, in Upwork Messages, in Freelancer.com Messages or in your Fiverr inbox.
- Open the Invollo side panel and go to the AI tab.
- Click Read this chat. The first time, Chrome asks to let Invollo read WhatsApp Web, Upwork, Freelancer.com and Fiverr. Allow it.
- The last messages of that conversation appear in the message box, marked Them: and Me:. Check them and edit or delete anything you don't want to share.
- Click Draft reply. Only then is the text sent to Invollo AI.
- Only the open conversation is read: at most the last 20 messages and 3,000 characters, as plain text. Never your chat list or other chats, the name or phone number at the top of the chat, photos, files or voice notes.
- Nothing is read in the background, when the side panel is closed, or when a page loads (unless you turn on automatic reading below), and nothing on the page is changed.
- Nothing that is read is saved, in the extension or in Invollo. Email addresses, phone numbers, links and @handles are hidden before Invollo AI reads the message.
- WhatsApp chats use the Direct client context. Upwork, Freelancer.com and Fiverr chats always use the Marketplace context, so the marketplace checks apply to your reply.
- Fiverr is read only when you click Read this chat, never automatically.
- If the extension can't read a chat (for example after the site changed its page), it says so. Select the messages and right-click instead.
Reading the open chat automatically (optional, off by default)
If you reply to many chats, the AI tab can fill the message box by itself whenever you open a conversation on WhatsApp Web, Upwork or Freelancer.com.
- In the side panel's AI tab, turn on the small Auto switch next to Read this chat. Chrome asks once for WhatsApp Web, Upwork and Freelancer.com.
- Open a conversation. While the side panel is open, its last messages appear in the message box. On WhatsApp, a new conversation appears when you come back to the side panel.
- Turn the switch off at any time. Nothing is read automatically after that.
- It works only while the side panel is open. Nothing is read when the panel is closed.
- Each conversation is read once. Fiverr is never read automatically, only when you click Read this chat.
- If you have edited the message box, the extension doesn't replace your text. It asks first.
- What is read is still only in the message box, and goes to Invollo AI only when you click Draft reply.
With "Remember conversations" on, the reply helper also links the chat to a conversation, so the next draft knows your earlier exchanges. See Conversation memory.
Reply-box button on Fiverr (optional, off by default)
Like a writing assistant, the reply-box button adds a small Invollo button to Fiverr's message box. It is off until you turn it on, for yourself only.
- In Invollo, open Settings → AI settings. On the "Reply-box button (browser extension)" card, click Turn on…, read the terms, tick the box and click Accept and turn on.
- In the extension's side panel, under "Reply-box button on Fiverr", click Turn on.
- Chrome asks for access to Fiverr pages. Allow it.
- Reload your Fiverr tab and click into the message box. The Invollo button appears at its corner.

- Select the buyer's message, press the Invollo button and choose "Draft a reply from the selected text", or choose "Improve my reply" for what you typed.
- In the side panel, click Insert into reply box to put the draft into Fiverr's message box. Read it, then press Send on Fiverr yourself.
- The button works only on Fiverr's inbox and order pages. It reads nothing until you press it, and it never sends, submits or clicks anything.
Turning the button off
Click Turn off on the card in Invollo or in the side panel. If you turn it off in Invollo, the extension removes the button within 6 hours, or at the next browser start.
